"By its very nature the gift of the person must be lasting and irrevocable.  The indissolubility of marriage flows in the first place from the very essence of that gift: the gift of one person to another person.  This reciprocal giving of self reveals the spousal nature of love."

- Pope Saint John Paul II, Letter to Families

After months of planning your wedding, the day is finally here.  You cannot wait to step away from all the planning and simply live in the present, knowing that you and your fiance are about to be married and showered with all the grace that comes with the sacrament.  You are so excited to share this joy with your soon-to-be-husband and all your friends and family who are there to celebrate with you!

From the lace of your Grandmother's wedding gown sewn into the your own dress, to the readings and music selected for the ceremony, and to the rosary wrapped around your bouquet, all the details have been so carefully planned for your special day.  You and your fiance desire to communicate to your guests the love and the faith that you share through all these details, so as to draw everyone present into the love of God.

While you are deeply in love with your fiance, your first love is our Lord, Jesus Christ.  In fact, what you love most about your fiance is his own devotion to Christ.  As the two of you continue to grow in love with each other, your love for Christ grows too.  You both lead and encourage one another in your faith and your relationship with the Lord.

While you know your wedding day will be one of the best days of your life, you are even more excited to enter the sacrament of marriage with your soon-to-be husband.  You both understand that marriage is a call from God for husband and wife to make His love present and tangible to each other, and to allow your relationship to be a witness to the world of God's love for all people.

While it is incredibly important to me that you have beautiful photos from your wedding day, it is even more important to me that you have an amazing experience through your photography.  When you look back at your wedding photos, I want to you to be brought right back to all the JOY you felt throughout your wedding day.  I want you to be totally comfortable in front of the camera so that you are free to focus on the love, joy, and excitement you share with your soon-to-be-husband!  We will schedule a time for us to meet up for a coffee/tea/hot chocolate/etc. so I can learn all about the two of you - how you met, how he proposed, how your marriage prep and wedding plans are going, your favorite saints - everything!  I want us to develop an authentic friendship so I can tell your story in a way that is true to you!

Yay!  We have met up and spent some great time getting to know each other and talk about your wedding vision, and now you are ready to book!  Once you and your fiance have decided that you want to make things official, I will send you a custom proposal where you can review your package and pay your deposit online.  Once all that is complete, your date will be locked in and we will be official!

Now it's time for the process to get really fun!  Once you book, we will schedule your engagement session.  This is our chance to let you get some practice in front of the camera with me so that on your wedding day, you will already be totally comfortable and familiar with all the posing!  I will coach you through everything you need to know throughout the session, and I promise you'll both be pros within the first 20 minutes!  After your session, the two of you will be featured in a special post on my blog!  And later I will send you your online gallery, and you will be free to post and share your images with family and friends!

Now we are really getting close to the big day!  I will be available to help you develop your custom timeline throughout your wedding planning process, but about 2 - 3 months before the big day, we will set up a time to lay out the details of your timeline.  I want to make sure the timeline is set up so that you can have a stress-free experience throughout your day, while having plenty of time for all those dreamy bride and groom portraits, gorgeous detail images, and fun shots with the bridal party!  We will be able to make slight adjustments over the next few weeks, and then we can send the final timeline to all your vendors the week before the wedding!

This is it!  This is the day you have been waiting for - the day that you and your fiance will join each other in the sacrament of marriage.  After all your hard work and planning, it is time for you to relax, enjoy your day, and let me serve you!  I love to be able to tell the full story of your day, so I always shoot a minimum of 8 hours.  From getting ready in the morning, all the way through your ceremony and reception, I will be with you to capture all the details and special moments so you can continue to experience your wedding day again and again through your photos.  I will send you a sneak peek of your images within just a few days because I know you are excited and want to share it right away!!

Congratulations!  You are MARRIED!!  About 2 - 3 weeks after your wedding, I will launch a blog post to tell the story of your wedding and share images that feature many of the highlights of the day.  You are welcome and encouraged to share this post with family and friends!!  Then 4 - 6 weeks after your wedding, I will send you a private link to your FULL GALLERY of wedding images!  There will be hundreds of images to view, so I recommend grabbing some cookies and hot chocolate, getting comfortable on the couch, and snuggling with your new husband as the two of you re-live your beautiful day through your images together.
