Jessica and Abe | A Summer Engagement Session at the Riverwalk and Dorothy Carnes Park

February 14th.  Such a romantic day for so many people… but for Jessica and Abe, it’s more than just Valentine’s Day.  It also happens to be the day they met.  (At a wedding.  Where she was a guest.  And he was a wedding crasher!)  Because it carries that extra significance to them, it also became the day Abe proposed!  And now they are just one month away from their wedding day!!

Jessica and Abe both teach at the same high school.  She teaches Home Ec, and he teaches Engineering and Welding.  Isn’t that so cool?!?  (I went to a small high school, so those kinds of awesome electives weren’t offered.  I wish I could have taken their classes!)  Jessica and Abe are both so kind, caring, and genuine.  Their students are so lucky to have them!!

I had such a great time with them during their session!  It was actually my first time in Fort Atkinson, and I loved it!!  We started at the River Walk, which was amazing!  I grew up spending lots of time at our family’s lake house, so I’m a big fan of the water.  I thought it was SO cool that people can take their boats out, ride down the river, and simply hop off at all kinds of restaurants and bars that are right there on the riverfront.  How fun is that?!?  We ended the session at Dorothy Carnes Park, and I was blown away by how beautiful it was!  I told Jessica and Abe that one of my favorite perks of doing sessions is that I get to see and explore so many amazing locations around Wisconsin.  There are so many beautiful places that I might not otherwise get to see!

Jessica and Abe, you guys are amazing!!  I hope you love your images as much as I do!  I can’t wait for your wedding next month!!
