What a joy it was to finally get to spend an evening with Denise and Geoffrey! We started talking about scheduling their engagement session back in February. The plan was to have a spring session, but just as we were getting dates lined up, a stay-at-home order was put in place. By the time the order was set to be lifted, Geoffrey would be leaving for a month-long work trip, and I had some out-of-town plans as well. So between all the pandemic-related setbacks and the travel plans, we were finally able to set a date for mid-July… less than TWO weeks before their wedding!!
Even though the scheduling has been a bit crazy, Denise never showed one bit of concern or frustration. She was so gracious and understanding through it all! We chose Owen Conservation Park for their session, and it did not disappoint! The ponds were beautiful, the wildflowers were colorful and abundant, and the light gave the perfect glow!
These two were so much fun to photograph! They are both so kind, genuine, and radiant with love for each other and their faith. I had so much fun capturing their love and joy! Geoffrey kept sneaking in extra kisses after I’d stop snapping photos, so I learned to keep my camera at my face even after I said I was all set. =)
Denise and Geoffrey, you two are amazing! I had so much fun spending the evening with you, and I hope you love your photos as much as I do! I can’t wait to celebrate with you at your wedding SO soon!!
