My name is Kirsten, and I am a wife, mama, and daughter of the King. I am in love with Jesus, my Catholic faith, and the communion of saints! I draw endless inspiration from the men and women who went before us on this earth, devoting their lives to courageously loving our Lord and teaching others how to do the same. They are cheering us on in this journey of life!
I am married to the love of my life, Joe. He is my own Joseph in so many ways. He loves, protects, and cares for me and our daughter so well. He inspires me to be best version of myself, and I am so honored to be his wife. We are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Evelyn, and a little boy, Henry, who is due in the spring! Evelyn is SUCH a happy baby, and she brings us so much joy! And we can't wait to meet her little brother in just a few months!!
I am a portrait, lifestyle, and wedding photographer in the Madison, WI area. I am so glad you are here and I cannot wait to get to know you! I am praying for you, friend.

Since before junior high, I have always loved photographing and scrapbooking every event with friends. Even if it was something as simple as seeing a movie or hanging out at a friend’s house, I always insisted on snapping a few quick pictures on my little point-and-shoot camera. (These were the days before iPhones or selfies.) My friends actually used to tease me about how often I pulled out my camera! I simply couldn’t help but want to preserve all these little moments that felt so special to me. I didn’t want to ever let myself forget about the friends I had growing up and all the fun we had together!
Fast-forward many years later to my engagement with Joe. Though our marriage prep, Joe and I were encouraged to read the book The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman. I discovered that my top love language is quality time. It makes so much sense to me now why I love photos. The memories captured through photography allow me to cherish, in a tangible way, the quality time I have spent with the people I love. I am able to flip through my scrapbooks and photo albums, smiling as I re-live those happy memories through my photos.
I feel so blessed to offer that same gift to others!!
I re-read the entire series at least once a year. It gets more magical every time!
If I had to pick two favorites... Pope Saint John Paul II and Saint Therese of Liseux!
Our little family brings me so much joy!
Joining heaven in the most perfect prayer is my favorite way to start the day!
